直方市石炭記念館は日本の近代化を支えた歴史を今に伝える場所です。ここには筑豊石炭鉱業組合直方会議所、救命器収納倉庫、救護練習模擬坑道などの貴重な建物があり、中でも直方市石炭記念館の本館である旧筑豊石炭鉱業組合直方会議所と救護練習所模擬坑道は国指定史跡となっています。

  The Nogata City Coal Mining Museum is a place that conveys the history that supported japan's modernization.

  Here,there are valuable buildings such as the Nogata Chamber of Commerce of th Chikuho Coal Mining Association,the rescue equipment storage warehouse,and the simulated rescue training mine shaft.

  Among them,the main building of the Nogata Coal Mining Museum,the former Nogata Chamber of Commerce of the Chikuho Coal Mining Association,and the simulated rescue training facility are designatedas national historic sites.

【休館日】毎週月曜日（祝日の場合は開館）12月29日～翌1月3日

【入館料】一般100円(60円)・大高生50円(30円)・中学生以下入館無料
